Overcoming Procrastination

Procrastination — And What You Can Do About It!

I’ll let you in on a hint: many of the most successful people you know still struggle with overcoming the curse of procrastination. The old adage is true, it’s often harder to get started than it is to finish! The same rings true in business.

There are ways to keep yourself accountable. If you hope to stop procrastinating in business, try setting up your own personal, mini deadlines ahead of bigger due dates. Let’s use Licensed Community Association Managers as an example. As I’ve discussed, LCAMs are a busy group of people. The Melrose team of managers has to keep track of many deadlines, whether they be during budget season, ahead of annual meetings, or during the day-to-day duties of helping a Board maintain their community’s success. Not falling victim to procrastination makes all the difference in productivity!
